The Pothole Hit Squad was launched in January 2011 to provide a quick response service to fill and carry out permanent repairs to potholes throughout the borough. Originally launched with two squads, there are now four working in the borough. In fact, they have proved such a success that they are now a permanent feature of our fight aginst potholes.
Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson, said:
“The Pothole Hit Squad is proving to be a quick and effective way of dealing with potholes across the borough and I am delighted the squads have been such an outstanding success
